    CHEESE AND BACON POTATO ROUNDS

    4 baking potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch slices
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1/2 c. green onion slices
    8 crisply-cooked bacon slices, crumbled
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese


    Recipe



    Brush both sides of potato slices with margarine; place on baking sheet.

    Bake at 400ºF for 30 to 40 minutes, turning as needed, until lightly browned on both sides.

    Combine remaining ingredients. Take out of oven and top each potato slice with spoonful and return to oven until cheese is melted.

    Serve with sour cream. Yield: about 32 appetizers.

    Note: Use as appetizers or as side dish with vegetables.
