    1/2 c finely chopped onion
    1/2 c finely chopped red bell pepper
    5 scallions chopped
    1 T butter
    1 T worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp garlic salt
    16 ozs cream cheese
    1 c mayonnaise
    3/4 C chopped pecans
    1 jar dried beef, chopped
    1 large round of bread

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 375°F.

    Saute onion, bell pepper and scallion in the butter over low heat until soft but not brown, about 5 min.

    Transfer to mixing bowl and add Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and cream cheese. Mix well. Add the rest and mix well again.

    Cut the top off the bread. Remove enough of the insides to make a bowl to hold the mixture. Try to remove it in "dippable" hunk sizes.

    Scope the mixture into cavity, replace top, wrap tightly in aluminum foil. Bake for 1 hour. Servewith large corn chips and the bread hunks. Your guest will end up eating the bread bowl as well.
