    24 lg button mushrooms
    1/2 lb country susage
    1/4 C sliced green onions
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp butter or margarine (or more if needed)
    2 Tbsp fine dry bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese

    Recipe



    Clean mushrooms. Remove stems. Mince enough stems to make 1 cup.

    Cook and drain the sausage. Crumbling it well while cooking.

    Cook onion, stems and garlic in margarine until tender. Add sausage, bread crumbs and cheese. Stuff the caps with filling and arrange on a 10 X 15 baking sheet. Bake at 425ºF for 8-10 minutes.
