Lime Slush Punch

2 cups sugar
8 cups water
1 (12 oz.) can frozen limeade
5 fresh limes, juiced
2 cans (12 oz. each) lemon-lime carbonated beverageRecipe
Combine sugar and water and heat slightly until sugar dissolves. Add frozen limeade and juice of 5 limes. Mix and pour into a shallow pan. Freeze. (Can be kept in freezer up to 3 months.)
When ready to serve, remove from freezer about 1 hour before serving and break up into slush. Pour into punch bowl and add carbonated lemon lime beverage.
Makes 18 servings (half-cup each).
