    1/2 cup butter, softened
    4 oz. cream cheese, softened
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1 teas. vanilla extract
    1 c. all purpose flour
    1 teas. baking powder
    1 c. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
    Confectioner’s sugar

    Heat oven to 325F; grease & flour 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Cut butter and cream cheese into 1-inch slices; place in bowl, add sugar & beat until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Add flour and baking powder. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until cake pulls away from pan. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack. Sprinkle confectioner’s sugar over loaf.
