    Gaudrey's Super Simple Sour Cream Pound

    3 eggs, beaten
    2 cups sour cream
    1 box yellow cake mix

    Recipe



    Combine eggs and sour cream on low speed. Add cake mix and continue beating on low speed just until moistened. Turn to medium speed and beat 3 minutes.

    Pour into a greased and floured or sprayed tube or Bundt pan.

    Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes. Test with a wooden skewer inserted halfway between the sides and the center tube. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.

    Cool in the pan for 5 to 10 minutes. Invert on a rack to complete cooling. You may frost if desired, but it's great plain.

    Variations:
    Chocolate Sour Cream: chocolate cake mix

    Fruit Breads: use 2 cups mashed fruit instead of sour cream.

    Another friend said she wanted to make the recipe but didn't have any sour cream. She used 2 cups of plain yogurt instead and it worked just fine. So I guess that answers the question about low fat and fat free sour cream.
