    1 box (18.25 oz.) devil's food cake mix
    1/2 c. finely chopped hazelnuts
    2 Tbs. espresso powder
    1 can (16 oz.) cream cheese frosting
    2 Tbs. hazelnut liqueur, like Frangelico
    2 cans (16 oz.) chocolate frosting

    Heat oven to 350ºF. Prepare cake mix according to package directions; stir hazelnuts and espresso powder into batter. Pour mixture into two greased and floured 8" round cake pans. Bake 35 min., or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; cool on rack. In bowl, mix cream cheese frosting and hazelnut liqueur until smooth, Cut each cake layer horizontally in two. Spread ½ c. cream cheese mixture on one round. Top with second round and repeat with remaining cake layers and frosting. Ice cake with chocolate frosting.
