    Knock You Naked Cake

    List of Ingredients




    1 German Chocolate Cake mix
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    1/3 c. evaporated milk (NOT condensed)

    1 (14 ox) pkg. caramel candy (Kraft brand)
    1/2 c. evaporated milke

    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. toasted chopped nuts (I use pecans)

    Recipe



    Combine cake mix, eggs, melted butter & evaporated milk. Mix & press half of batter into a greased 9 x 13" baking pan. Bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes (it will puff up but will not be done yet). Set aside other half of batter.

    While cake is baking for 10 minutes, melt caramels with 1/2 c. evaporated milk in the top of a double boiler. Stir and mix well. Pour over cake that has baked 10 mins.

    Top with chopped nuts and chocolate chips. Very carefully spread the other half of the batter over the caramel, nuts & chips. Bake 25-30 more minutes at 350ºF until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted to test.

    To serve, top with Cool Whip & a maraschino cherry. Eat at your own risk!

    Brenda's notes: I used a regular pot on low on my flat-top stove & it worked fine. I used milk chocolate chips. If your oven cooks fast, you will need to turn your oven down by 10-15 degrees and probably cook a little longer.
