Recipe Introduction


This recipe is from the late 70's (probably 1978) that was posted in all the women's magazines around Christmas time. When it bakes, the jello creates sort of a marble effect. It is a really good cake.


List of Ingredients




1 yellow cake mix
8 oz sour cream
1/4 cup water
2 eggs
3 oz pkg strawberry gelatin

Recipe



Preheat oven to 350ºF. Combine all ingredients except gelatin. Pour 1/3 of cake batter into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Sprinkle half of dry gelatin over cake. Pour 1/3 batter over gelatin. Sprinkle remaining gelatin over batter. Pour remaining batter over gelatin.

Bake for 40-45 minutes.
