    Seven-Up Pound Cake

    List of Ingredients




    1 stick butter
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs at room temperature
    3 c. sifted all purposed flour
    1 c. 7-Up soda
    3 t. lemon extract
    3 t. vanilla extract

    Recipe



    Cream together butter, margarine & Crisco using mixer on medium speed. Add sugar & beat well. Add eggs & flavorings and beat at least 2 minutes. Batter will be very creamy. Be sure to scrape down sides during mixing. On low speed, alternately add flour & 7-Up. Mix well. Pour into a greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.

    Bake at 300ºF for 1 hour & 20 minutes or until cake tests done with toothpick or cake tester. Remove from pan & cool on rack.

    Brenda's notes: I use Crisco baking spray & it works great instead of greasing & flouring pan. Remember all ovens are dufferent so adjust your oven and times accordingly.
