List of Ingredients
1 stick margarine
1 onion, chopped
1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 beef bouillon cube
1 can (10 oz) chicken stock
1 bag (10 oz) tortilla chips
1 chicken, boiled, boned, skinned, cut into bite size pieces
10 oz grated sharp cheddar
10 oz grated jack cheese
Recipe
In a large skillet, melt margarine. Add onion and green chilies; simmer for 10 minutes. Add cans of soup, bouillon, and stock. Boil for 1 minute then simmer 10 minutes. In a 9x13 baking dish, place layers of chips, chicken, sauce and cheeses. Bake at 350ºF for 45 minutes.
Posted by: TamaraLynn / Changes-I used 2 cooked chicken breasts. I used about 1 teaspoon of olive oil rather than 1 stick margarine. I used baked tostitos, and they pretty much dissolved during baking. A sturdier chip would be better, or even corn tortillas, torn into pieces would work well I think. Tammy
