Deep Dish Turkey (or Chicken) Pot Pie (T & T)

1 2/3 c. hot water
1 (6 oz) pkg stuffing mix for chicken or turkey
3 c. cooked turkey or chicken, chopped
1 (10 oz) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 (12 oz) jar turkey gravy
Recipe
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Add water to stuffing mix; stir just until moistened. Set aside. Place turkey & vegetables in a greased 2 qt. casserole dish. Pour gravy over turkey mix, stir gently then top with prepared stuffing. Bake 30 mins or until heated through. Makes 6 servings.
My notes: I used chicken and a can of Veg-All veggies. I used Heinz chicken gravy in the jar. I mixed the gravy with the chicken and veggies and topped with the stuffing mix. Make sure to use the stuffing mix that has the dried seasonings in it...not just plain bread. This was good and I will make it again. Great way to use leftover meat.
