    SAUSAGE PILAF

    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. ch. pimiento
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 t. poultry seasoning
    1/4 t. salt
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 T. melted butter

    Recipe

    Brown sausage. Drain. Add celery, onion, and green pepper. Cook until tender. Stir in pimiento, soup, milk, rice, and seasonings. Pour into an ungreased 1.5 quart casserole. Bake covered 350ºF for 50 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix crumbs and butter. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake uncovered 20 min. longer. Trim with pimiento cutouts. Serves 6
