Recipe Introduction


Mom got this from her landlady, Mrs. McMullen. Mom & Dad rented from her after they got married.


List of Ingredients




1 lb (2 1/4 c) brown sugar
1/2 c stick margarine
2 eggs
1 1/2 c flour
1 c chopped pecans
2 t baking powder
1 t vanilla

Recipe



Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. Set aside.

Beat sugar and margarine until blended and add the rest of the ingredients.

Bake for 30 mins. Cut while still hot. Cut small as these are rich.

My notes: these are good and easy to make.
