OATMEAL BARS

1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs (large)
4 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 cups Mazola oil
4 cups oatmeal(preferably Ouaker Oats)
3 1/2 cups flour
12 oz. Chocolate chips(preferably Nestles)
1 cup raisins
1 cup walnuts (chopped)
2 tsp. baking soda Recipe
Mix all ingredients except for the flour and dry oatmeal in one large bowl or large pot. Then add the flour and oatmeal.
Spread in an ungreased jellyroll pan 12X15. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Check at 20 minutes, usually your nose will tell you when they are done(do not let the sides get brown).
Cut while still warm.
NOTE: I use pecans instead of the walnuts.
