List of Ingredients

3/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 package (3 oz) fruit flavored Jello
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


Recipe

Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix shortening, sugar, Jello, eggs and vanilla in bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Shape dough into 3/4" balls (or you can shape for what design you want). Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass that has been dipped in sugar.

Bake 6-8 minutes.

Makes about 5 dozen. A great topper to these is dipping them in powdered sugar after they have baked...Yummy.
