Cake Mix Cookies w/Variations

1 box of any kind of cake mix
1 egg
2/3 to 1 cup vegetable oil
lots of imagination



Recipe



Mix ingrediants adding 2/3 cup oil to start, if mix seems dry add additional oil up to 1 cup total. Drop by the spoon full, roll into balls, or cookie press mixture on to a non-stick baking pan. Bake at 375ºF for approx 8-10 minutes, until done.


These cookies are fun to make...Only your imagination can limit all that you can do with the basic recipe. Some of my favorites are:

1. Cherry Chip Cake Mix, drop by the teaspoon onto pan and press marachino cherry half into the center before baking.

2. German Chocolate Cake Mix, with 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Roll into 1" balls and roll the balls in coconut before baking.

3. Lemon Cake Mix, add 1 small package lemon drop candies (broken into small pieces, but not crushed), drop by the teaspoon on to non stick cookie sheet. Bake and sprinkle immediately with powdered sugar after you pull them out of the oven.

4. White Cake mix, roll into balls, dip balls 1/2 way into a bowl of crushed peppermint candy powder before baking.
