Butter Pecan Cookies

1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1 c. chopped pecans


Recipe



Cream butter and sugars until light. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a moderate oven (375ºF) about 10 minutes.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies
