Sour Cream Cookies With Burnt Sugar Frosting

3/4 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda


Recipe

Combine butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add sour cream and flour mixture to the creamed mixture. Drop by rounded teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 375ºF oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned, do not over bake.

Burnt Sugar Frosting:
4 Tbsp. butter, melted until golden brown, 1 c. powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp. vanilla...Add up to 2 Tbsp. hot water until smooth and spreadable.
