    Cherry Cream Cheese Cake

    1 (18.25) white cake mix, mixed according to package directions
    2 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
    4 cups powdered sugar
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
    2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling

    Recipe



    After preparing cake to package directions, pour into two greased 9 x 13-inch pans. Bake at 350ºF for 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool.

    In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy, fold in the whipped cream. Spread over each cake. Top with pie filling. Chill for 4 hours or overnight.

    Serves 24-30

    Posted by: cjintexas: This is another TOH recipe - one recipe makes 2 - 9x13 pans and it looks really pretty. I think you could use cherry pie filling for 2 cakes and blueberry pie filling for the other 2 cakes - red, white and blue!
