Kraft Dough

Recipe Introduction

Use this dough to make your own handprint or footprint of your kids or grandkids...no more expensive kits. You can also use this dough to make Christmas ornaments.

List of Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 c. table salt
3/4 c. hot water
1 T. oil


Recipe

Mix water and salt in bowl, stirring to dissolve salt somewhat. Salt will not dissolve completely. Add flour and oil. Mix well.

On a floured surface, knead dough.

Put dough in a pie pan and flatten to edges.

Press hand or foot and make a print. If you mess up, just take out of pan and knead a little and start over.

Using a straw, put a hang hole in the top of print.

Bake at 300ºF for about 1 hour.

Let cool then decorate (use markers, glitter and glue, crayons, paint, whatever...).

Tie a ribbon hanger in the hole.

Extra Notes: This is a very nice *dough* to work with. Easy to start over if needed. We were very pleased with the results.
