Paper Clip Angel Directions:
First you need to buy the paper clips.... They are called Butterfly clips or Ideal clamps size #2.
Ribbon, your choice of color.
Wooden beads with a hole in them for the heads 8mm to 14mm.
Small plastic beads for the Angels arms.
And small rose bud flowers- they come in a pack of about 8 or so.
Recipe
Put the flat side of the clip down and the two points up...see where the top points cross in the middle? This is where you will put the wooden bead (head). I am using anywhere from 8mm to around 14 mm. for the heads. A length of a narrow ribbon is tied a the top cross over part of the clip. Then it is run through the hole of the wooden bead. Now knot it at the top of the wooded bead ( head ) so the wooden bead (head) is secure in place and will not flop around. Then leave about 4 inches of ribbon at the top. Knot ribbon then cut. This will be where you can attach a poem or hang the Angel from. Then slide 2 to 3 small beads onto each "arm". I added one small flower bud to where the ribbon is tied to the clip. I hot glued it in place. I am also doing some pearl beads and dark wood ones...for the different ethnicity.You can also add a tiny bit of curly hair on top of the Angels head.
Try doing them in RED, WHITE AND BLUE! Maybe holding and small AMERICAN FLAG!
