HAWAIIAN SPARERIBS
3 lb pork spareribs
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
Fluffy rice
Preheat oven to 350. Cut ribs into serving size pieces. Place in single layer in 9x13-inch baking dish. Combine soy sauce with 1 cup water and pour over ribs. Sprinkle with salt and brown sugar. Bake for 2 hours and turn occasionally for even browning. Serve pan liquid over rice.

ASPARAGUS CASSEROLE
2 (15 oz) cans asparagus spears
2 (15 oz) cans petite peas
1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup soft breadcrumbs
2 tbsp butter, melted
Chill cans of asparagus for 2-3 hours. About 40 minutes before serving, open cans and drain. Arrange half of asparagus in sprayed 6-cup baking dish. Gently mix peas, soup and cheese. Spoon half mixture into baking dish. Add remaining asparagus and top with remaining pea mixture. Toss crumbs with butter. Sprinkle on top of vegetables. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
