    TERIYAKI CHICKEN

    1 1/2 lb chicken pieces, skinned

    1/2 cup soy sauce

    1/4 cup dry sherry

    2 tbsp sugar

    2 tbsp grated fresh ginger root

    4 cloves garlic, crushed

    2 tbsp oil


    Rinse chicken, pat dry and arrange in baking dish. Combine soy sauce, sherry, sugar, ginger root, garlic and oil. Pour over chicken and toss to coat.

    Cover and marinate in refrigerator 6 hours and turn occasionally. Drain. Pat chicken dry and place on hot grill. Cook and turn occasionally for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.

    Serves 4-6

    GRILLED MIXED VEGETABLES

    1 yellow squash, washed, cubed

    1 zucchini, (1 inch) sliced

    1 green bell pepper, seeded, quartered

    1 small onion, quartered

    6 large mushrooms, halved

    1 (8 oz) bottle Italian dressing


    Mix vegetables and spread on aluminum foil. Sprinkle dressing over all. Close foil tightly to make flat package and place on grill rack. Grill for about 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

    Serves 4
