    Dianne's Fudge & Fudge Cones

    Source of Recipe

    List of Ingredients

    4 cups sugar
    1 cup whole milk
    1 tsp vanilla
    25 lg marshmellows
    1 cup real butter
    13 oz semi-sweet choc chips
    2 oz unsweetened choc
13 oz milk choc (I use 1 pkg milk choc chips)
    1 cup nuts

    Recipe

Mix sugar, milk, butter and vanilla. Let come to full boil and let boil for exactly 2 minutes. Turn off heat and add marshmellows; add the chocolate one at a time. Heat until melted. Spread into buttered 12x10 pan. Can cut choc into smaller pieces for quicker melting. This is the BEST fudge: you got to try it!!!!

    Now the FUDGE CONES:
Last year, I was in a family owned candy store and they had made Christmas fudge cones! They took the sugar ice cream cones: filled them with fudge and topped with white chocolate and sprinkles and red/green M&Ms. They were so cute so I made them for the holidays wrapped them in cellephane and ribbon. They were a big hit.

I filled the sugar cones with some mini marshmellows first so less fudge had to be used! Pour it into the cones so it heaped up alittle. (I had filled with small marshmellows to use less fudge). The tricky part was holding them upright while they cooled...ended up using lots of cups to do this. After the fudge had set, I "iced" with almond bark (can use white choc). Make sure some of the fudge shows. Then add sprinkles and top with a red or greem peanut M&M's. These are really cute for the kids! Hope this all makes sense.
