Pork Tenderloin With Hoisin and Sesame Seeds

    Source of Recipe

    internet

    Recipe Introduction

Hogs come in all sizes, so choose the biggest tenderloin you can find. To toast sesame seeds, place them in a dry skillet and place over a low fire until light brown. This is a favorite recipe from chef Rozanne Gold.

    List of Ingredients

    2 lb. pork tenderloin
    1/3 cup hoisin sauce
1/3 cup or more sesame seeds, toasted

    Recipe

Preheat oven to 400ºF. Brush tenderloin with three tablespoons hoisin sauce. Roll pork in sesame seeds to coat evenly. Increase quantity if pork is not completely coated. Place on baking sheet that has been spritzed with non-stick spray. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a small pot, combine remaining sauce and three tablespoons water. Heat gently until sauce is smooth. Remove pork from oven. Let sit five to 10 minutes before slicing. Add any pan juices to hoisin sauce. Serve meat with sauce.

    Yield: 3 to 4 servings
