    Crust:
    1 cup flour
    1 cup (4 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 cup chopped pecans
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon paprika
    1/3 cup oil

    Filling:
    1 cup sour cream
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    1/4 cup mayonnaise
    3 large eggs, lightly beaten
    2 cups finely chopped chicken
    1/2 cup (2 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 cup minced fresh onion
    1/4 teaspoon dried dill week
    3 drops hot sauce (Louisiana or Tabasco)
    1/4 cup pecan halves or ch opped pecans

    Recipe



    Crust: Combine flour, cheese, pecans, salt and paprika in a medium bowl; stir well. Add oil; stir well. Firmly press mixture on bottom and up the side of a 9-inch DEEP dish pie pan or a 10-inch quiche/pie pan. Bake at 350ºF for 12 minutes. Cool completely before continuing.

    Filling: Combine sour cream, broth, mayonnaise and eggs; stir with a wire whisk until smooth. Stir in chicken, cheese, onion, dill and hot sauce. Pour chicken mixture over prepared crust. Arrange pecan halves over chicken mixture or sprinkle chopped pecans over mixture. Bake at 350ºF for 55 minutes or until set. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Serves 6-8
