The Chain of Love begins with "Push!" and the worst pain, quickest forgotten.
Loving guidance through the first tooth, the first step, the first tantrum.
The bad times wiped away, by the smile from one who believes that a parent can kiss anything better.

Five years of noise & laughter, then - THE SCHOOL GATE!
Mother drags herself away, to be comforted by the slow, slow clock & a box of tissues.
Fido, of the unconditional love & Mum, discover the joys of the park, as the child travels through hero worship & crushes on teachers, pop stars & the boy next door.

The humiliation of the teenage years gone, the REAL THING!
The wedding follows, or at least the moving in.
For the parents, the comfort of mature love as grandchildren arrive, to be lovingly spoilt, knowing that your home will return to peace & order after the visit.

Petals blown lightly in the breeze over a headstone, with 2 dates, connected with a dash.
