    Chinese Style Chicken Breasts

    This chicken dish is marinated in a Chinese-style sauce and a delicious crunch is added by coating the chicken in Honey Nut Corn Flakes cereal. The taste is amazing.

    List of Ingredients




    6 chicken breasts, skinless (about 2 lbs)
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1/4 t. ground ginger
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3 C. Honey Nut Corn Flakes cereal, crushed to 3/4 c.

    Recipe



    Wash chicken and pat dry. In a shallow dish, mix egg, soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Add chicken, turning to coat pieces completely. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, turning once. Remove from marinade, draining off excess. Coat pieces evenly with crushed cereal. Place in a single layer, meaty side up, in a greased shallow baking dish. Bake at 350ºF for 50 - 60 mins. or until juices run clear when chicken is pierced. Do not cover or turn chicken while baking.
