    1 lb chicken breasts cut into thin strips
    1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
    1 teaspoon garlic salt or minced garlic
    1 package frozen Japanese vegetables
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 cup chopped onions
    1 Tablespoon cornstarch
    1 Tablespoon sugar
    2 Tablespoons soy sauce
    1/3 cup chicken broth
    1/2 cup almonds (I use slivered)
    1 cup drained pineapple chunks
    Hot cooked rice

    Sauté chicken in oil and garlic. Add celery and onion and sauté for 3 minutes. Add Japanese vegetables. Cover and cook for 3 minutes. Blend cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce and chicken broth in a jar with a lid. Shake until smooth. Stir cornstarch mixture into the chicken & vegetable s. Cook until thick and clear. Add pineapple chunks and stir until pineapple chunks are warm. Top with almonds. Serve with rice.
