    French Onion Joes

    Source of Recipe

    internet

    List of Ingredients

1 can condensed French Onion Soup
    1 pound ground beef
1-2 Tablespoons flour, maybe a little more
    4 hamburger buns

    Recipe

Brown meat; drain. Add soup and stir. Cover and simmer on med-low for 5 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon flour; stir well. Bring to a boil to thicken sauce. Use your judgement and add more flour if it needs to thicken more. Serve on buns "sloppy joe" style.

    Serves: 4

Posted by: AirForceWifeApril: My roommate in college used to make this and we really liked it. It's a great alternative to sloppy joes when you want something meaty and savory to put between hamburger buns. I was feeling a little nostalgic this morning, so I thought I'd post this. It's really quite good...I've actually had to give out the recipe to all my sisters and my mom after they tasted it (many years ago). We also like to make it when we go camping. It's a great recipe for kids to help out with because of it's simplicity. And I've never met a kid (or grown up) who didn't like to eat it.
