Scallops Parmesan

1 - 1 1/2 lb. scallops
1/2 c. dry white wine
1/4 c. grated fresh Parmesan cheeseRecipe
Wash and clean scallops. Allow scallops to drain on paper towels in refrigerator for at least 30 mins.
Bring wine to a simmer in a saucepan. Add scallops. Simmer 1 - 3 mins. Remove scallops from liquid and drain on paper towels again.
Place scallops on a baking sheet and sprinkle with cheese.
Place under preheated broiler until cheese melts and is golden, about 1 - 2 mins. Serve.
