Italian Garlic Mashed Potatoes

2 pounds small red-skinned potatoes, boiled with skins on--about 15 minutes
2 Tablespoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup Romano cheese
1/2 cup light butter, softened and cut into piecesRecipe
When potatoes are fork tender, drain and transfer to a large bowl. Immediately add butter, cheese, garlic, oregano, and salt. Blend with an electric mixer---may leave lumpy for texture.
Serves 4.
