Sweet Onion Casserole

List of Ingredients

1 pound sweet onions, sliced into rings and separated (Vidalia or other type of sweet onions)
1 egg, beaten
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
paprika


Recipe

Place onion slices in a medium saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute. Drain onions; transfer to an 8-inch square baking dish. In a small bowl combine egg, cream, salt and pepper; pour mixture over onions. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F.

Serves 6.
