6 c cereal (cherrios, crispix or any 3-d cereal that is NOT flat and sweetened).
2 c salted nuts-peanuts or cashews

1 c brown sugar
1 c butter

1/2 to 3/4 c of mini m & m's

Recipe



Turn oven to 350ºF. In a 9 X 13 pan put in the cereal & nuts. Set aside.

In a medium saucepan put in brown sugar & butter. Melt these two together, stirring to incorporate them. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over cereal mix stirring to coat.

Bake for 8 minutes, stir, bake for 8 minutes. Take out of oven, stir then cool completely.

When it is done and completely cooled then add 1/2 to 3/4 c of mini m & m's.
