    3 tablespoons oil
    1/3 cup popcorn
    3 tablespoons white or brown sugar
    Salt

    In a Dutch oven, place oil and 3 kernels of popcorn and cover.

    When popcorn pops, oil is hot.

    Add popcorn and white or brown sugar. Stir briefly. Cover and shake continuously over medium-high heat until popcorn is popped. Sprinkle with salt, if desired.
