1 1/2 Cup butter (that's 3 sticks!!)
1 Cup brown sugar
12 cups of Crispex cereal (I happen to use Life cereal because I can get it at Costco, and it is naturally sweet)
1 1/2 Cups of pecans or mixed nuts(Not too many peanuts so get the better can of mixed nuts.)

I was just making this for the 3rd time this summer. I don't get on Reiman's as often as I used to since the big change some time ago, except for low carb and flylady...but I thought I really should share this recipe. It is so easy, and so good! I don't eat sweets, and I can't stay out of it! Sweet Chex Mix. 1 1/2 Cup butter (that's 3 sticks!!) 1 Cup brown sugar Boil the two for one minute. 12 cups of Crispex cereal (I happen to use Life cereal because I can get it at Costco, and it is naturally sweet) 1 1/2 Cups of pecans or mixed nuts. Not too many peanuts so get the better can of mixed nuts. Spray large cookie sheet. (I put it into a large lasagna pan that I have so it has high sides) Mix cereal and nuts. Pour brown sugar mix over and bake at 350 for 7 minutes. Stir and bake for 7 minutes more. Stir frequently while cooling.
