    1 pkg. chicken, cooked and diced (used 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into about 1 inch chunks)
    1 can cream of chicken soup (98% reduced fat cream of chicken soup)
    1 1/2 c. water, divided
    1 c. diced celery
    1 onion, diced
    1 t. salt
    1/4 c. all purpose flour
    1/8 t. black pepper (used 1/2 t)
    4 potatoes, diced
    6 carrots, sliced (used 1 cup mini carrots, cut into chunks)
    1/4 t. poultry seasoning

    Recipe



    Combine soup, 1 c. water, celery, onion, seasonings, chicken. Cook 1 1/2 hours on low heat. Add potatoes and onions. Cook additional 45 minutes. Blend flour and 1/2 c. water. Stir into stew. Cook additional 10 minutes or until thickened.

    Posted by: gratefulservant_AZ: This is a recipe I have had for more than 25 since years since way before Gregg and I got married. I remember using my brother for a guinea pig and loving it then. Haven't made it in a long time. 5 WW PPS for serving (6 servings) with my tweaks in parenthesis. Its very simple, but very good and the kitchen smells so good while it is cooking.

    I forgot to say I added a couple teaspoons of chicken bouillion granules because of using the chicken breasts to make the stock have good chicken flavor (since the chicken was skinless). In the directions it is supposed to say that the carrots go in at the same time as the potatoes and onions.
