    1 (15-16 OZ.) CAN CHICK PEAS (GARBANZO BEANS)
    1 FRESH SQUEEZED LEMON
    ZEST FROM HALF THE LEMON
    2-3 TBSP. OLIVE OIL
    4-5 CLOVES GARLIC
    SALT TO TASTE
    DASH OF PEPPER
    1 1/2 TBSP. TAHINI (SESAME BUTTER)
    ENOUGH WATER TO THIN MIXTURE (IF NECESSARY)
    PITA BREAD, TORN INTO BITE-SIZED PIECES

    Recipe

    DRAIN THE LIQUID FROM THE CHICK PEAS. PUT ALL INGREDIENTS INTO FOOD PROCESSOR; BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH; THIN WITH WATER IF NECESSARY; CHILL HUMMUS; SERVE WITH PITA BREAD.
