    Spanish Round Steak

    Makes 4-6 servings, Prep. Time 10 minutes, Cooking Time: 8 hours, Ideal Slow cooker size: 4-qt.

    List of Ingredients

    1 medium onion, sliced, divided
    2 ribs celery, chopped, divided
    2 green or red bell peppers, sliced in rings or strips, divided
    2 lbs. round steak
    2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley, or 2 tsp. dried parsley
    1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    3 c. canned diced tomatoes
    1 c. tomato juice or chicken broth
    1 tsp. garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper

    Recipe

    1. Put half of onion, celery, and green or red pepper, in slow cooker.

    2. Cut steak into serving-size pieces. Place steak pieces in slow cooker.

    3. Put remaining onion celery, and green or red pepper over steak.

    4. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over meat.

    5. Cover. Cook on Low 8 hours.

    6. Serve over noodles or rice.
