I first scrub the potato, slice in half, spray with ICBINB, sprinkle with garlic salt and add a thin slice of onion. Wrap each potato in foil and place on the grill. I don't see why this can't be done in the crockpot as well. You can make extras and cut them up for home fries for another meal.
