    great as an appetizer or just a light meal, along with a salad

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup water
    1 tbsp olive oil
    3 cups flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp sugar
    1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast

    Recipe



    put all ingredients in bread machine in order listed, put on dough setting, when dough cycle has finished, remove dough from machine, place on a lightly floured surface, knock it back gently, then roll it out to a rectangle measuring about 12 x 9 inches, place in a prepared tin or cookie sheetpress outwards and upwards so that dough covers the base and sides, make dimples in dough about 1/4 inch apart, all across dough.



    My Foccacia Sauce

    1/4 cup ketchup
    1/4 cup beer
    1/2 cup sugar
    3 drops tabasco
    oilve oil
    fresh rosemary
    3 cloves garlic chopped finely
    1/4 cup chopped onions
    1 tbsp dried onions
    oregano fresh or dried
    basil dried

    saute garlic and onions in olive oil, add oregano and basil let simmer on low heat. meanwhile mix ketchup,beer, sugar and tabasco in a bowl til well mixed, then add then add onion and garlic mixture to the sauce, blend alltogether, with a pastry brush paint the sauce on to the dough making sure to cover entire surface, then sprinkle rosemary and dried onions allover surface...let rise about 1 - 2 hours or til doubled in bulk..bake at 400 25-30 mins or til done to your liking...this is very good, goes great with soup or salad for a light meal....
