    My favorite way to make a roast. It adds tons of flavor and makes it tender and makes its own gravy. If you choose not to have the gravy just leave the cream soup out and sprinkle onion soup on top. Just be sure you add water to the bottom of the pan instead of the soup.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
    • 1 can cream of celery
    • 4 lb chuck roast


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Mix onion soup and cream soup together. Place beef in pan. Pour soup over and around meat. Cover with foil. Roast 2 1/2 - 3 hours until tender.
    2. For easy clean up you can put meat on foil in pan and cover with soup mix. Pull up foil to seal in steam. If you cook it this way roast 4 hours instead of 2 1/2 - 3 hours
