    Scalloped Potatoes

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 tbsp. oleo
    • 1 tbsp. flour
    • 1 1/2 c. milk
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 4 c. thin sliced potatoes
    • 1 onion chopped
    • 1 green pepper chopped
    • buttered bread crumbs
    • shredded cheddar


    Instructions


    1. In pan melt oleo. Stir in flour. Add milk. Stir.

    2. Constantly cook and stir over low heat until thickened and bubbly.

    3. Season with salt and pepper.

    4. In greased 1 1/2 qt. baking dish arrange half the potatoes, half the onions, half the green peppers.

    5. Cover with sauce and repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees 35 min. Sprinkle with crumbs.

    6. Bake uncovered 40 min. more. Sprinkle with cheese. Let stand 5 min.
