    Family Favorite Roasted Chicken

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 roasting chicken
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 1/8 tsp. salt
    • 1 med. lemon
    • 4 oz. cream cheese softened
    • 1 tbsp. italian seasoning
    • 1/2 c. zesty italian dressing


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse chicken. Pat dry. Use sharp knife to separate chicken skin from meat. Grate lemon peel. Mix the peel with cream cheese and seasoning. Put chicken in 13 x 9 inche pan.
    2. Use a spoon to carefully stuff cheese mix under skin pushing toward the legs. Do not tear skin. Cut lemon in half. Squeeze into bowl. Add dressing mix.
    3. Drizzle over chicken. Put lemons in cavity. Bake 1 hour 30 min.
