    List of Ingredients


    • 3 c flour
    • 1 1/4 c shortening - Crisco
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 egg
    • 1/3 c water
    • 1 T cider vinegar


    Instructions


    1. In large bowl, cut shortening into flour and salt.
    2. In a smaller bowl, slightly beat egg and add water and vinegar.
    3. Stir this mixture into the flour with fork until moistened.
    4. Using hands, form into 3 balls. Do not overmix.
    5. Refrigerate 1/2 hr. before rolling out on floured surface.

    6. Dough can be kept in refrigerator several days before using.
    7. Rolled out unbaked crusts can be frozen.
