    Nannie's Grandmother Blumenshine


    Recipe Introduction


    This is a very old recipe. Grandma used to cut cookies in duck & bunny shapes using raisins for the eyes.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/3 cup oleo
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 8 oz. sour cream
    • 6 cups flour
    • 4 tsp. baking powder
    • 1 1/3 tsp. baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp. salt


    Instructions


    1. Mix ingredients and refrigerate dough for several hours.
    2. Roll out on floured surface.
    3. Cut into desired shapes.
    4. Place onto greased cookie sheets.
    5. Bake @ 350 degrees until done.


    Final Comments


    These cookies are wonderful memories and ones I still like to make.
