    List of Ingredients


    • 4 - 5 lbs.beef & pork roast, boiled and shredded
    • 1 1/2 small bottles catsup
    • 1 onion, cut fine
    • 2 tsp. sugar
    • 2 tsp. vinegar
    • 2 tsp.dry mustard
    • 2 green peppers, cut fine
    • 2 T pickling spices
    • 2 tsp. garlic
    • 1 pint tomato juice


    Instructions


    1. Boil & shred both pork & beef roasts.

    2. Place and mix together all the other ingredients in a crockpot warming before adding the meat.(actually you will be shredding the meat while the sauce is warming.)

    3. Varying amounts of meat will result in either using more or less pepper & onions to acquire that sweet peppery taste that makes this recipe so unique.

    4. Insert the pickling spices in a makeshift cloth tied up and placed into the crockpot for as long as its needed to accomodate that sweet peppery taste. And then remove the pouch.



    Final Comments


    The above 4-7 # of meat will feed approximately 30 people.
