    Pork BBQ On A Stick

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 lb. pork tenderloin cut into fairly thin 1" wide strips
    • 3/4 cup soy sauce
    • 2 1/2 cups 7Up
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
    • 1 Tbl honey or 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • These measurements are approximate. I don't think I ever really measured any of it.
    • You can also use a 1" piece of fresh ginger, cut up and a couple of cloves of garlic, chopped and a small onion chopped in place of the powdered ingredients.


    Instructions


    1. Mix all ingreadients except pork. Stir well. Add pork strips and refrigerate to marinate for 24 hours.

    2. The next day soak 16 bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.

    3. Remove pork from refrigerator and drain briefly. Thread pork strips onto bamboo skewers. Refrigerate untl ready to grill.

    4. Grill over hot coals, turning once. Since the strips are thin cooking time will be fairly short.

    If your friends and family like these as much as mine do, you may want to double the recipe.
