List of Ingredients



• 3 c. Sugar
  
• 2/3 C. shortening
  
• 3 eggs
  
• 3/4 C. sour milk
  
• 2 tsp. vanilla
  
• 3 1/4 C. sifted flour
  
• 1 tsp. salt
  
• 2 tsp. baking soda
  
• 10 Tbsp. cocoa
  
• 1 1/2 C. hot water
  






Instructions



1. Cream sugar and shortening together.
   
   
2. Add vanilla, eggs, and sour milk.
   
   
3. Mix flour, cocoa, salt and soda in seperate bowl, add to the first mixture.
   
   
4. Add hot water a little at a time.
   
   
5. Pour into greased and floured cake pans.
   
   
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min or until done.
